What is a wa.me link?

A wa.me link is WhatsApp's official click-to-chat link. When someone taps https://wa.me/ followed by your number, WhatsApp opens a chat with you, without them saving your number first. Adding ?text= puts a ready-made message in their typing box.

How do I write my number in a WhatsApp link?

Use the full international number with digits only: country code first, then the number, with no +, spaces, dashes, brackets or leading zero. For the Indian number 098765 43210 that is 919876543210, so the link is https://wa.me/919876543210.

Does the link work with a WhatsApp Business number?

Yes. wa.me links work for numbers on the WhatsApp app, the WhatsApp Business app and the WhatsApp Business API.

Is this WhatsApp link generator free?

Yes. It is free, needs no sign-up, and runs in your browser. Your number and message are not sent to Nexora.

Can I see how many people clicked my WhatsApp link?

Not from the link itself; wa.me links have no click counter. If the number is connected to Nexora, every chat that starts from the link lands in your shared team inbox, where the AI agent can reply straight away.
