WhatsApp Forms

WA Forms are interactive forms that open inside WhatsApp. Customers fill them in without leaving the chat, which makes them far easier to complete than a website form. Use them for enquiries, bookings, admissions, feedback and lead qualification.

Note

On WhatsApp, these forms are called Flows. In Nexora they're called WA Forms, so they aren't confused with automation Flows.

#Create a form

  1. Open WA Forms and click Create New Form.
  2. Enter a Form Name. Each name must be unique, because WhatsApp rejects duplicate names.
  3. In the Builder, drag or click Form Components onto the canvas: text fields, email, phone, dropdowns, choices, dates and a consent checkbox such as "I agree to the terms and conditions".
  4. Select a field to edit its Field Properties: the Display Label customers see, and the Variable Name used inside Nexora.
  5. Check What customers see in the preview, then publish the form.

#Send a form

  • In a template, add a Flow button and pick the published form. See Create a template.
  • In the Team Inbox, send it from the reply box as a WhatsApp Flow while the 24-hour window is open.
  • In an automation flow, send the template that contains it.

#See answers

Open the form and go to Submissions. Each submission is also saved on the contact, and the conversation shows Form submitted with the answers.

#If the form shows a setup warning

If you see Flows encryption is not set up yet, your WhatsApp number needs a one-time setup before forms can be sent. Contact support and we'll set it up for you.
