Add, bulk add and import

There are four ways to get contacts into Nexora. People who message your WhatsApp number are also added automatically.

#Add one contact

1. On Contacts, click Add New Contact.
2. Pick the country, then enter the number (exactly 10 digits for India). Enter the name.
3. Optionally add email, company, status, segments and notes (Load More Options shows the rest), then click Save Contact.

#Bulk add

1. Click Bulk Add. A grid opens.
2. Type or paste rows of name, phone and optional tags. To remove a row, click its ✕.
3. Click Save. Rows with problems are highlighted so you can fix them.

#Import a CSV or Excel file

1. Click Import to open the Import Contacts Wizard.
2. Upload File: drag in a .csv, .xlsx or .xls file.
3. Map Columns: match each column in your file to a Nexora field (Name, Phone, Email, Tags, Status, Lead Source or a custom field). Choose Skip Field for columns you don't need.
4. Choose what to do with numbers that already exist: Skip, Update existing or Keep both.
5. Check the preview, then click Confirm & Import.

When the import finishes, you see Contacts Import Complete with counts for Imported, Updated, Skipped (Dups) and Rows with Errors. Past imports are listed so you can see where each batch came from.

#Preparing your file

• Use one row per person, with a header row.
• Write phone numbers with the country code (for example 919876543210), or pick the country during import.
• Separate multiple tags with commas or semicolons: vip; diwali-2026.
• Status must be one of: lead, active, customer, inactive, blocked.
