Tags and custom fields

#Tags

A tag is a label you put on a contact. Tags are the simplest way to group people: by interest, campaign, stage or anything else.

Good tags are short, lowercase and consistent: vip, price-asked, site-visit-done, diwali-2026.

#Add tags to one contact

Open the contact's profile and type in the tags box. Pick an existing tag, or type a new one to create it.

#Add tags to many contacts

  1. Tick the contacts on the Contacts page, or tick the header box to select the whole page.
  2. Click Add Tags, choose or create tags, then click Apply.

#Manage tags

Open Manage Tags to create, rename (double-click a tag) or delete tags. Deleting a tag removes it from every contact; the contacts themselves stay.

Tip

Tags can also be added automatically. A flow can tag people who click a button, and the Tag Added trigger can start a follow-up when a tag is applied.

#Custom fields

Custom fields store details Nexora doesn't have by default, like Budget, Course, Property type or Date of birth.

  1. Open Manage Custom Fields from the Contacts page.
  2. Click Add Custom Field, enter the Field Name and choose the type (for example text, number, date or a list of options).
  3. Click Save. The field appears on every contact's profile, in imports and in segment rules.

You can use custom fields to personalise messages, and as conditions in segments.
