Templates overview
A template is a message you write once and get approved by Meta. After approval, you can send it to many customers at once in a campaign, start a conversation with it, or send it from a flow.
#When you need a template
WhatsApp only lets businesses send free-form messages within 24 hours of the customer's last message. To message someone first, or after those 24 hours, you must use an approved template. See The 24-hour reply window.
