Getting templates approved
Every template is reviewed by Meta, not by Nexora. Most reviews finish within minutes; some take up to 24 hours.
#Common reasons for rejection, and the fix
| Reason | Fix |
|---|---|
| Wrong category, such as an offer marked as Utility | Offers and promotions are Marketing. Utility is only for something the customer started, such as an order or appointment. |
| Variables at the start or end, or side by side | Put words around each variable. |
| Missing or unrealistic sample values | Give a real-looking sample for every variable. |
| Vague or misleading content | Say clearly who you are and why you're messaging. |
| Asking for sensitive data | Never ask for card numbers, passwords or OTPs in a template. |
| Duplicate of an existing template | Change the wording, or use the existing template. |
| Broken or shortened links | Use your full, real website address. |
#If your template is rejected
Open the template to see Meta's reason, edit the content and submit again. If you can't see why it was rejected, ask support.
#After approval
- Meta can change a template's category if it decides the content is marketing.
- If many customers block or report messages from a template, Meta may pause or disable it. See Protect your number's quality.
Note
Approval is decided by Meta. Nexora's compliance check helps, but it can't guarantee approval.
